Job Description

Nokia is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join the User Support team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role is about hands-on IT support for manufacturing and engineering teams, including device deployment, user support, endpoint administration, test systems, network connectivity, collaboration tools, and hardware lifecycle management to ensure reliable business and production operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support for employees and manufacturing operations in Allentown.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, Windows OS, and application issues.
  • Diagnose and repair laptops, recover data, and perform basic hardware component replacement.
  • Manage incidents from initial investigation through resolution, ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Install, configure, image, and deploy laptops.
  • Support Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Office applications, file and print services, and business applications.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing printers, barcode printers, and scanners.
  • Support conference room audio/video systems and Microsoft Teams phones.
  • Manage device-related tasks in Active Directory and assist with password resets and account unlocks.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates and technical documentation.
