Responsibilities

  • Update hardware and software inventory and change logs
  • Work with Secure The Enterprise (STE) and Secure The Network (STN) systems
  • Utilize LatteArt and Gatekeeper tools
  • Review XACTA notices for compliance
  • Complete SEAR audit log records
  • Address POAM for IAVAs
  • Coordinate with system owners and administrators
  • Perform Security System Plan (SSP) efforts

Full Job Description

Basic Requirements:
  • Security+ Certification
  • 10 years' experience as an Information System Security Officer
    • Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
    • 4 additional years of experience as an Information System Security Officer may be substituted for a degree

Job Description:
  • Hardware & software inventory updates & change log updates
  • Work various Secure The Enterprise (STE) & Secure The Network (STN)
  • Experience with LatteArt & Gatekeeper
  • Review XACTA notices
  • Complete SEAR audit log records
  • Review & address POAM for IAVAs
  • Coordinate with system owners & system administrators
  • Perform various SSP efforts
  • Review scans & work with system owners & system administrators to address and remediate issues
  • Address computer incident security reports
  • Begin authorization for new systems and re-authorization for legacy systems, etc.

  • Encryption techniques/tools.
