Job Title: Information System Security Manager (ISSM)

Working Pattern: Fulltime - onsite w/every other Friday remote

Working location: Indianapolis, IN

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

Position Summary:

This is a multi-faceted information security position requiring a qualified security professional in support of multiple Rolls-Royce Defense programs and support of our corporate security standards across all sites.

What you will be doing:
  • Creation and execution of Assessment and Authorization artifacts (System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), etc).
  • System self-inspections, continuous auditing, and oversight.
  • Sustainment activities (maintenance, hardware/software changes, account creation, assured file transfers, patching, etc).
  • Interface with internal and external customers on a daily or weekly cadence.
  • Manage time, priorities, analyze problems and provide sound solutions.


Basic Requirements:

  • Associate's degree with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, you must have at least 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with 32 CFR 117 NISPOM, NIST 800-53/53a, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, which requires US citizenship.


Preferred Requirements:
  • Prior ISSO and/or ISSM experience.
  • Working knowledge of MUSA, ISOL and WANs.
  • Basic knowledge of COMSEC.
  • Experience with Incident Response, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Disaster Recovery.
  • Ability to work in a teaming environment and individually.
  • Accurate verbal and communication skills.
  • DoD 8570 IAM III compliant certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.) Must be able to obtain within 3-6 months of being appointed.
  • Working knowledge with eMASS to include submission of systems.
  • Experience with Window and Linux OS as well as Virtual Machines/Zero Clients.
  • Experience with monitoring/hardening tools; SPLUNK, NESSUS, SCAP.

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range.
