What You'll Do

The Manager of Information Security is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Information Security Program that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the health system's information assets. This role leads a team of Information Security professionals, partners closely with clinical and operational leaders, and ensures compliance with healthcare-specific regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, HITECH, and industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications Required Educational Degree: Bachelor's degree Major/Area of Concentration: Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Preferred Education: Master's preferred Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), HCISPP, PMP, ITIL Foundation, or other equivalent certifications. Required Experience: 5+ years of progressive information security experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Preferred Experience: Healthcare or other regulated industry experience preferred.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI-DSS. • Knowledge of NIST CSF. • Strong knowledge of general IT including operating systems, computer networking, and software development concepts. • Strong knowledge of security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, IAM, firewalls, cloud security, encryption, and network security. • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-relevant language. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
