Job Description:

This job is responsible for providing subject matter expertise across an information management operations function, and supporting the manager in all aspects of day-to-day management of the team's operations. Key responsibilities include employee training and coaching, addressing employee inquiries, escalations, approvals, and team supervision to ensure processes are executed correctly. Job expectations include escalating issues to the team manager when necessary, while maintaining a deep knowledge of all key functions supported.

As part of Wealth Management Operations (WMO), Investment Information Management Organization, this position is an Information Management Team Lead within the Wealth Management Performance Operations Team. The Information Management Team Lead will support the Wealth Management Performance Operations organization by coordinating the day-to-day workflow for one or more performance operations functions. Key responsibilities include maintaining a deep expertise on the process, ensuring daily workflows are operating smoothly, and resolving moderately complex performance outliers and inquiries.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs moderately complex activities supporting the assignment, sourcing, gathering, furnishing and movement of financial and client information and data according to the established guidelines and procedures
  • Coordinates and manages team workflow across various systems to ensure daily processes are completed accurately and deliverables are met
  • Provides day-to-day training and coaching to team members while addressing employee inquiries and escalations
  • Monitors team service levels, volume, performance metric reporting, escalating concerns where appropriate
  • Conducts quality assurance reviews and provides routine supervisory manager approvals
  • Researches complex operational and client requests, issues, and escalations to identify root cause and assist with remediation efforts and solutions
  • Identifies and recommends opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation to senior management
  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day workflow of assigned performance operations functions to ensure service level commitments and production deadlines are consistently met.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the operational processes supported.
  • Monitor operational processes and controls, proactively identifying workflow issues, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex performance exceptions, data discrepancies, and client or advisor inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely outcomes.
  • Perform quality reviews and validation activities to maintain the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of performance data, reports, and calculations.
  • Assist in the development, enhancement, and documentation of operating procedures, workflows, and controls to support a scalable operating environment.
  • Provide coaching, training, and daily work direction to team members, fostering knowledge development and operational consistency.
  • Support the implementation of process enhancements, system upgrades, and strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing risk.
  • Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to identify performance trends, operational metrics, and areas requiring attention or escalation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, risk management standards, and departmental procedures.
  • Escalate material issues and emerging risks appropriately while driving timely resolution and communication to leadership.


Required Qualifications:
  • Experience investigating and resolving data discrepancies for investments, data quality issues, and operational exceptions.
  • Foundational knowledge of investment types (equity, fixed income, alternative investments, cash, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to interpret large data sets and perform detailed analysis to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Understanding of operational controls, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements within financial services.
