DescriptionMarkon is hiring an Information Assurance SME to support an Intelligence Community customer and their missions from Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate will respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues, turning cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and recommendations for Security related issues.
- Develop and maintain a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Analyze cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Firm understanding of the Cybersecurity requirements across the IC.
- Understanding of National Security Systems initiatives.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Sit in technical exchange meetings and provide input to customers.
- Contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies and influence the trajectory of ICAM, Zero Trust and other Cyber security areas in the IC.
- Develop and publish baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
Qualifications
Required:
- An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (Preferrably from this client).
- Typically require BS degree and 12 6 15 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level.
- Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
- Familiarity with the IC policy update process.
- Familiarity with DNI structure and processes.
- Secure cloud architecture expertise.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
- Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
- Familiarity with Identity, Authentication and Authorization.
- Experience partnering across the IC.
Salary RangeUSD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
