Digital Consultants seeks an
Information Assurance (IA) Analyst to support the U.S. Army Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR) Information Assurance Support Services requirement. The IA Analyst is designated by the Government as Key Personnel and will provide Information Assurance & Cybersecurity support for Army information systems and applications. The IA Analyst will support vulnerability assessment, system security and administration, STIG compliance, and system change-request reviews in environments involving Oracle databases, .NET web applications, RedHat, and Windows systems. Familiarity with Azure administration is highly preferred by the PWS.
Location: Arlington, VA
Duties to include:- Perform IA/Cybersecurity activities within environments hosting Oracle databases and .NET web applications.
- Assess and report system vulnerabilities.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual vulnerability scans.
- Execute Government STIG checklists for system compliance.
- Apply RedHat and Windows security and administration experience in support of system cybersecurity.
- Review system change requests for IA vulnerabilities.
- Recommend alternatives or implementation actions based on identified IA vulnerabilities.
- Complete change-request reviews and recommendations within the required 2-business-day turnaround.
- Support system vulnerability and compliance activities while recognizing that final approval/disapproval authority remains with the System Owner/COR.
Requirements
- Clearance: Must have, at minimum, a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), or equivalent or higher investigation, at the time of proposal submission. Must be able to obtain a DoW Common Access Card (CAC) and maintain it for the duration of the contract.
- Certifications: Must be IA certified at the IAT Level II certification level upon contract award and maintain the certification throughout the life of the contract.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years IA/Cybersecurity experience within an environment hosting Oracle databases and .NET web applications.
- Solid RedHat and Windows security and administration experience sufficient to assess and report system vulnerabilities.
- Technical proficiency in conducting weekly, monthly, and annual vulnerability scans.
- High familiarity with executing Government STIG checklists for system compliance.
- Familiarity with Azure administration is highly preferred.
- Ability to review system change requests and recommend alternatives or implementation based on IA vulnerabilities within a 2-business-day turnaround.
Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to travel to other worksites as required and with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to sit, stand, use computers and monitors, and perform duties in an office environment for extended periods. The candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion (e.g., moving a case of paper or similar task) that may occur occasionally.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 depending on experience.
