JOB SUMMARY:The primary purpose of the Infection Preventionist
(RN) isto directly oversee our infection control program within our
Skilled Nursing facility and ensure all policies andprocedures are being followed. This position will partner with the DNS to contribute to implementing Sapphire policies and procedures and making sure the staff is well trained in Infection Control.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Infection control surveillance in Skilled Nursing environment
- Tracking and trending facility infections amongst staff and residents
- Infection Preventionist (RN) will manageImmunization tracking
- Staff and resident education
- Partner with DNS for infection control projects
- Member of the quality assurance committee
- Other Duties as Assigned
REQUIREMENTS:- RN License in State of practice
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Preferred
