Job DescriptionInfection Preventionist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role.
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent education/experience
- National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology within 1 year of hire.
- 2 years of Healthcare Experience
- 2 years of Epidemiology Experience
- Epidemiology or Infection Prevention experience
Preferred qualifications:- Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent education/experience
- 4 years of Healthcare Experience
- 4 years of Epidemiology Experience
