Infection Preventionist Nurse (LVN)
Arden Park Post Acute - Sacramento, CA
Pay: $40-$45/hour

Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated LVN Infection Preventionist Nurse to join our team. This role is ideal for a nurse passionate about infection control, resident safety, and quality care in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program
  • Monitor, track, and report infections in compliance with CDC, OSHA, and public health guidelines
  • Conduct infection control audits, surveillance, and facility rounds
  • Provide staff education and in-service training on infection prevention practices
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and interdisciplinary team to improve clinical outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reporting systems
  • Identify risks and implement corrective action plans

Qualifications:
  • Active California LVN license
  • Experience in infection prevention, or strong clinical background in skilled nursing or post-acute care
  • Working knowledge of infection control standards and regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and staff education skills
