Job Description:Participates in and leads research, quality improvement, and scholarly dissemination activities, including publications, presentations, and protocol development. Other duties as assigned. Provides expert consultation to infection preventionists and interdisciplinary teams across the care continuum. Assists the IP leader with the management of the IPC program. Demonstrates financial acumen by contributing to IPC-related business cases and product evaluations. Collaborates on antimicrobial stewardship initiatives. Develops, implements, and evaluates IPC programs, aligning goals with organizational priorities and emerging infectious threats. Leads development and implementation of process assessments, action plans, and diagnostic stewardship systems to mitigate infection risks. Designs and delivers innovative IPC education tailored to diverse audiences and learning styles. Conducts advanced surveillance, epidemiologic analysis, and risk assessments to detect infection trends, outbreaks, and process gaps. Oversees compliance with infection control protocols, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization standards, ensuring regulatory alignment. Monitors, validates, and optimizes surveillance technology and reporting systems to support strategic planning and accurate data collection. Serves as IPC subject matter expert on performance improvement teams using quality improvement methodologies and standard indicators. Advocates for safe practices, ethical standards, and accountability in alignment with the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. Utilizes data analytics, statistics, and visualization tools to communicate findings and support data-driven decisions.

Education:- Bachelor's [Required]
- Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:- health science, healthcare delivery, public health, or laboratory science, or related field.
Work Experience:- 3+ experience in clinical setting, infection control or public health. [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:- Infection Control Certification (CIC) [Required]
- Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) [Required]
- Technologist in Microbiology (MASCP) [Preferred]

Pay Range:$72,904.00 - $135,595.20
