Qualifications

• University or College degree or certification is an asset.
• 5 years of experience required.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles related to work study and process analysis.
• Familiarity with rolling stock equipment is a strong asset.
• Project management skills are beneficial.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence is essential.
• Working knowledge of MS Office is required.
• Basic knowledge of database software (e.g., MS Access, Maximo) is a plus.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required.

Responsibilities

• Recommend work standards by studying operational requirements and utilizing work-measurement techniques.
• Investigate and prepare amendment requests to the master maintenance schedule with attention to technical integrity.
• Schedule and implement necessary corrections, revisions, and updates.
• Serve on PEG and RCM committees, ensuring maintenance changes align with company interests.
• Update the Master Maintenance Schedule as needed.
• Maintain process documents for scheduled maintenance activities, including repairs and testing procedures.
• Provide labor hour estimates for special projects based on engineering instructions and prototypes.
• Create detailed job plans, including tasks and material pick lists for special projects.
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and communicate changes to planners.
