Full Job Description
Physical Security/Industrial Security Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

The Physical Security/Industrial Security Specialist will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to provide physical security (PS), industrial security, and cybersecurity support for collateral, SCI and SAP systems in accordance with ICD, DODM, legacy DCID/JAFAN, and other DoD and national guidance for facilities with internal networks and guest systems. This role supports industrial security requirements for SAR acquisition programs and requires being in the office five days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting Government security authorities in managing acquisition security programs' industrial security requirements and identifying cybersecurity and physical security vulnerabilities to ensure compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with DODM, ICD, or legacy DCID/JAFAN physical security and IA requirements while maintaining accreditation, facility Certification, and documentation.
  • Interfacing with HHQ for physical and technical security (TEMPEST/TSCM) actions and procedures, and conducting preconstruction reviews for construction, expansion, and modifications.
  • Assisting Information Assurance Managers with the implementation of cybersecurity requirements and enforcement of personnel security controls for visitors and un-cleared personnel.
  • Enforcing physical security controls of electronic devices and prohibited items while implementing local media control policies and procedures.
  • Conducting periodic self-inspections, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing corrective actions to ensure robust security posture.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 6+ years' experience with both Physical and Industrial Security and a minimum of 4 years in an SCI or SAR environment.
  • Must complete ICD-705 training (DSSA or NRO) within 6 months of the date of hire.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of SAP relevant experience is highly desired.
  • Significant experience and familiarity with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents.


Clearance Requirements:
  • An active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Must be a US Citizen with eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
  • Must possess a willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must possess the willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) up to 25% both air and ground transportation.


The projected compensation range for this position is $141,500.00-$236,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
