Industrial Property Management Lead - Central / N. Texas Region

What this job involves:

As the Industrial Property Management Lead for the Central / N. Texas Region, you will have overall responsibility for the industrial property management business across Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Austin and El Paso. Reporting locally to the Regional Manager with matrix reporting to the head of US Industrial Property Management, you will balance three critical priorities: leading the regional industrial property management team, ensuring the utilization of best-in-class practices, and driving business growth throughout the region. This position carries national leadership responsibilities on the industrial property management team, representing JLL to both national and local clients while straddling the line between delivering an industry-leading property management platform and actively selling those same services. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, and you will embody this through a national client relationship management role with significant client interaction opportunities. Your tenure in the property management industry will enable you to provide leadership to multiple teams across multiple geographies, always focused on the client experience through innovative solutions for clients and tenants alike. You will approve key deliverables including budgets and financial reports, work closely with leasing, investment sales, and other business line partners to identify new opportunities, and initiate business development and retention initiatives. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and you will leverage your team extensively, developing members through delegation and identifying opportunities for performance efficiencies. As a strategic thinker who sees the big picture and acts decisively, you will contribute to establishing work quality standards, cultural initiatives, and best practices that drive results while building successful, diverse teams through inclusive communication, hiring practices, and thoughtful career development. Your role extends beyond operations-you will be active in the commercial real estate industry, engaged and serving in leadership roles with industry and community organizations that raise JLL's profile and build relationships with clients and influencers who can help expand our footprint in ways that build our brand and generate referrals.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Lead and mentor multiple property management teams across the Dallas/Fort Worth region, modeling exceptional people management skills and holding teams accountable for portfolio results
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the regional industrial property management business, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through active prospecting and relationship building
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key national and regional clients, managing relationships at the executive level and ensuring exceptional service delivery across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate with leasing, investment sales, and other JLL business lines to create integrated solutions, cross-sell services, and identify opportunities to expand client relationships
  • Pitch new business proposals and lead client presentations, articulating JLL's value proposition and demonstrating how our platform delivers superior outcomes for industrial property owners
  • Drive the implementation of innovative technology solutions and operational processes that simplify business, improve client and tenant relationships, and empower teams to perform at their highest level
  • Establish and refine best practices, quality standards, and cultural initiatives that strengthen the regional platform and position the team for continued growth and excellence
  • Actively participate in commercial real estate industry organizations and community leadership roles, raising JLL's profile and cultivating relationships with clients, prospects, and market influencers

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial real estate experience with demonstrated knowledge of property management operations, building systems, lease negotiations, documentation, and administration
  • Proven track record in business development with strong communication and presentation skills, including experience pitching proposals and closing new business
  • Exceptionally strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple teams across different locations and developing talent through coaching and delegation
  • Deep financial acumen including experience managing a P&L and responsibility for platform performance in your region.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with demonstrated ability to manage complex client and vendor relationships, resolve conflicts, and maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and property management software, with Yardi experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and organize diverse responsibilities to achieve portfolio goals, business development targets, and team objectives simultaneously

Preferred qualifications:
  • CPM (Certified Property Manager), RPA (Real Property Administrator), or similar professional designation
  • Established network of relationships within the Dallas/Fort Worth commercial real estate community, including property owners, investors, brokers, and industry organizations
  • Experience managing industrial portfolios exceeding 5 million square feet across multiple properties and ownership groups
