Job Title: Industrial Projects - Senior Project Manager
Job Location: Houston, TX

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating and controlling all activities associated with the shipping and logistics across all areas of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Deliver overall logistics service to the client
  • Analyze KPIs to ensure efficiency and procedures are maintained
  • Liaise with client on a scheduled basis to review service provision and develop business opportunities
  • Responsible for contract negotiations
  • Account retention and development
  • Within the limits of the role assures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements
  • Within the limits of the role accountable for overall project delivery to time and budget as well as expected results for HSE and client satisfaction
  • Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company
  • Manages and coordinates activities of project personnel by direct supervision
  • Supervise operations and logistics teams across all locations
  • Global high level logistics planning
  • Support and supervision of key shipments if required
  • Support team members during peak periods in different areas of operation when required
  • Ensure project compliance with Customs and other shipping regulations
  • Ensure evaluations of Service Providers are reviewed and audited
  • Drive and manage search for improved services and rates from Service Providers
  • Ensure project shipment processing is executed in line with quality & safety procedures
  • Ensure all financial and administrative activities comply with the Company's standards, at all times
  • Have overview and sign off of all SOPs relating to the project in conjunction with Contracts Manager and KAM
  • P rovide direction and support to team
  • Provide team with targets against agreed timelines
  • Performance Management - appraisal, evaluation, staff development
  • Encourage and create a spirit of co-operation between teams in different locations
  • Provide manpower planning for Logistics function within project requirements
  • Assist in the management of personnel issues within the Logistics Team where required
  • Attend meetings with entire Logistics Team to give all members the opportunity to receive information and give feedback where required
  • Provide motivation and drive to deliver the above in an integrated team environment and proactively contribute towards all activities to meet the Projects overall objectives
Skills / Requirements :
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• BA/BS degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience required
• Strong operational skills
• Strong knowledge of logistics
• Heavy lift domestic trucking experience
• Strong management skills

Pay Range: $105,682.50 - $140,910.00+ (Based on Experience)
