What you'll doAs an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), you'll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape. Your day-to-day:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical problems on production and auxiliary equipment
- Modify, repair or replace parts of machinery to maintain production capacity
- Inspect, lubricate machine part and determine future maintenance requirements
- Perform changeover, setup and adjustments on production equipment
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the departmental safety action plan
- Participate in major projects, installations and start-ups
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine spare parts requirements
- Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all safety procedures
- Ensure flexibility to respond to maintenance needs off-hours
Your strengths as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)- 3-5 years experience in industrial manufacturing environments
- Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Millwright License (433A) is required
- Good communication skills
- Good understanding of safety procedures
- Good analytical and attention to detail skill
- Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines.
