Senior Maintenance Manager
McDonough, GA | $55/HR - Negotiable

1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire

Are you an experienced maintenance leader who knows how to keep a high-volume, automated operation running at peak performance? We're looking for a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability operations at a major distribution center in McDonough, GA. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale maintenance operation, lead a skilled team, improve equipment reliability, and make a measurable impact on uptime and productivity.
What You'll Own
  • Lead maintenance operations supporting a high-throughput, automated distribution center.
  • Manage maintenance supervisors and maintenance team members.
  • Oversee PLC-controlled conveyors, sortation systems, robotics, RFID systems, and automated material-handling equipment.
  • Lead preventive, predictive/condition-based, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Drive improvements in MTTR, MTBF, OEE, equipment uptime, and breakdown reduction.
  • Troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and develop long-term corrective solutions.
  • Manage maintenance projects, budgets, schedules, contractors, and vendors.
  • Oversee facility maintenance systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and coach maintenance team members through training and performance management.
  • Partner with operations to minimize downtime and maintain production goals.
  • Ensure maintenance activities follow safety, quality, environmental, and company standards.
  • Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, asset history, and maintenance performance.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Facility Systems Experience

Experience with:
  • HVAC systems
  • Fire sprinkler systems
  • Water backflow prevention
  • Roofing and building systems
  • General construction and facility repairs
  • Commercial kitchen equipment
  • Refrigeration, coolers, and freezers
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive maintenance/reliability experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse automation, or another high-throughput environment.
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience managing supervisors, technicians, or maintenance teams.
  • Strong understanding of automated material-handling systems and industrial equipment.
  • Experience developing and managing preventive and condition-based maintenance programs.
  • CMMS experience.
  • Proven success improving MTTR, MTBF, OEE, equipment uptime, and breakdown rates.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, planning, and vendor-management skills.
  • Excellent mechanical and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to respond to critical maintenance issues when needed.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
