Industrial Engineer
This is a full time onsite opportunity in the Decatur, IL facility.
Duties:
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production layouts to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement time studies, process maps, and value stream analyses to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain-to drive process improvements.
• Design and implement standardized work procedures, equipment layouts, and process documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce waste, improve throughput, and support cost-reduction goals.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, equipment, and automation technologies to improve efficiency.
• Track key performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership.
• Support training of production and operations staff on new processes or improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Product Engineer, or related role where the required experience was gained. Also required experience in the following:
• 2 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering
• Process analysis tools and methods such as Lean and Six Sigma
• CAD tools such as AutoCAD for layout design and process simulation software
• ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• High-volume manufacturing or assembly environments
• Safety standards and ergonomics in manufacturing settings
Salary/Pay Range:
$81,630.02-$188,244.00
The compensation range above reflects a good-faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment as of the date of posting. Individual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the role, professional experience, job-related skills, achievements, and/or work location. The range listed is only one component of the total compensation package offered to candidates.
