Industrial Electrician, Thomaston, Georgia - Night Shift

Earn Up to $40.74/hour + $1.25 Shift Premium + Competitive Incentives

Interfor is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team in Thomaston, Georgia. This is a high-impact role for skilled electrical professionals who excel at diagnosing issues, maintaining complex systems, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

Top Pay & Incentives
  • Earn up to $40.74 per hour based on skill level and experience.
  • Up to $1.25/hour Night Shift Premium
  • Quarterly Gainshare Bonus (performance based)

What You'll Do
  • Perform electrical repair and improvement projects throughout the entire mill site.
  • Read, write, and understand electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls, A.C inverters, or any other control systems throughout the mill site.
  • Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation.
  • Effectively manage and plan work to accomplish job tasks with minimal direct supervision.
  • Submit work requests.
  • Fill out completed work orders listing work done, parts used, and time taken to complete the job.
  • Perform any other duties in any area requested by Supervisor.
  • Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
