Job Description:As a Licensed Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, control systems, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulation and standards.
- follow all electrical codes and regulations specific to Ontario.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operations of the facility.
- Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems as required.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Requirements:- Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A Preferred)
- Previous experience working in an automated industrial facility. (Siemens Step 7 would be an asset)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, machinery, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Must follow all electrical codes and regulations for Ontario.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
