  • Experience with PLCs, including understanding of ladder logic, is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in an industrial electrical environment preferred.
  • Master/Journeyman Card preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience troubleshooting motion control systems is favored.
  • Ability to design and implement small projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment using specialized tools and knowledge.
  • Maintain equipment through a preventative maintenance program.
  • Install, modify, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct electrical work including conduit installation and lighting fixture replacement.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70E guidelines.

Full Job Description
Our full-time electrician position is responsible for complex technical work and ensuring that all our high-speed equipment is fully operational.

Sign-on bonus offered for qualified candidate up to $3,000. 2nd Shift rate $41.25 with available overtime.

WHAT YOU'LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using knowledge and tools such as digital multi-meter, megohmmeter, and PC to get online with various PLCs.
  • Maintains equipment through a preventative maintenance program and work order system.
  • Performs and/or assists in the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Conducts building electrical work such as running conduit, pulling wires, and replacing light fixtures.
  • Performs work in a safe manner following OSHA and NFPA 70E guidelines.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching and occasional sitting.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must not have a fear of heights or small spaces.
