As Indirect Procurement Specialist you are primarily responsible for creating a competitive environment within the Solenis supply base, achieving cost reduction and cash flow targets within North America. Responsibilities include:
- Independently develop a sourcing strategy to deliver cost savings and cash flow targets
- Analyze spend data to identify cost savings and cash flow improvement opportunities
- Identify and develop preferred supplier network and achieve supplier consolidation
- Negotiate contracts and purchases of indirect materials and services to ensure best conditions for Solenis
- Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve results
- Build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Utilize e-technologies as applicable (i.e.-RFP's, SFDC, reverse auctions, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Solenis Environmental, Health & Safety, and Responsible Care programs
- Track results and communicate work progress during on-line meetings at critical milestones and/or regularly scheduled
- Key spend areas will be in the MRO (maintenance, repair, operations) and laboratory categories
- Support corporate sourcing initiatives - additional requirements to support sourcing team through improvement initiatives such as SAP data improvements, process improvements. Training and support of other corporate groups on sourcing programs and processes.
- Lead NA procurement projects
- Coordinate with Global team as appropriate
- SAP Workflow items (vendor requests, material requests, FAA approval of PO's, etc.)
- Build strong ensuring relationships with global and regional Sourcing, Supply Chain and other stakeholders
- Prepare analyses and presentations on KPIs with respect to PPV, processes, technology etc.
- Support integration of Solenis corporate acquisitions as related to sourcing initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of work, e.g. Business, Supply Chain, Science or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant functional experience with a focus on sourcing, supply chain, process excellence, and project/program management.
- Experience with ERPs, supply chain collaboration and e-procurement tools such as SAP, Salesforce.com, Tableau and others
- Excellent knowledge of typical professional computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Power Point
- Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed organization
- Hands on and problem-solving mentality.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment.
- Good team player
- Strong organization capabilities and project management skills;
- Strong written, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of driving results, ability to influence and work collaboratively in cross-regional and cross-functional teams
This is a remote position with up to 15% travel required.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $77,270.00 and $113,322.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
