Job DescriptionThe HR Product team is hiring a Varicent ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) Product Consultant. We are looking for someone with a flexible and nimble working style to join our Agile delivery team focused on calculating incentive compensation within Varicent ICM. As a Product Consultant supporting multiple incentive compensation plans, you should be comfortable shifting quickly to new priorities and delivering outcomes based on business needs. This position requires strong technical/functional expertise and an eagerness to design, troubleshoot, and continually assess and enhance our product solutions. A strong desire for learning and an appetite for new technology within the HR ecosystem, will make you successful in this position.
Essential Responsibilities- Support efforts to modernize reporting by converting legacy reports to Presenter Adaptive format, ensuring alignment with business needs and usability for end users.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on system functionality optimization, design, and enhancements to ensure the product keeps up with Varicent's latest technology capabilities (artificial intelligence, workflows, virtual agents).
- Perform testing and analysis to ensure the system meets or exceeds customer requirements. Ensure design solutions are validated/tested to confirm the design is working as planned, downstream impact is considered, and additional problems are not inadvertently resulting from the change.
- Log and maintain tickets in Jira, which is our HR Product support application. Take ownership of issue though resolution. Communicate and educate business teams as needed on resolution.
- Analyze, understand and share learnings from peer groups, Varicent Community, and professional networks to build strong knowledge of the product. Share knowledge with team members.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Two to four years of relevant technical experience
Preferred Skills/Experience - Working knowledge of Varicent ICM
- Working knowledge of incentive/compensation functions of HR
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR business processes and the technology platforms used to support, including web and mobile capabilities
- Proficient analysis and research skills, i.e., ability to support complex system features, incidents, and future product state with the purpose of maintaining and improving delivery of services
- Basic knowledge of technology desktop software and tools (e.g. Microsoft office suite, Windows infrastructure), industry trends and tools and key enterprise software
- Working knowledge of HR functions and business rules including payroll, compensation, recruiting and staffing practices and benefits
- Working knowledge of one or more key platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone, Varicent or other Cloud based HR solutions and end user experiences
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to lead meetings re: technical/functional design, demo, and feedback sessions
- Ability to identify threats and vulnerabilities in cloud environments
- Ability to work within the team to identify opportunities for knowledge and communication self-help
- Ability to read, design, analyze and update workflow, process flow or system diagrams
- Ability to breakdown complex compensation rules into structured, testable configuration
- Ability to gather requirements by facilitating working sessions and translating ambiguous business needs into clear functional specs
- Integration knowledge - understanding of data interfaces, staging/target tables, import specs and scheduler processes
- Hands-on experience configuring in Varicent or a comparable cloud-based ICM/SPM platform a plus
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
