Green Expert Technology (GreenXT) is seeking an
INACT Material Analyst to provide advanced material procurement review support to PMS368, SEA05V, and NAVSEA 08, for the INACT advanced planning advanced material procurement plan.
Responsibilities:- Review and analyze the HII-NNS submittal of the INACT CDRL deliverable of the Advanced Material Procurement Plan (AMPP) and provide an analysis of appropriateness for material types and quantity as presented in the AMPP to the SUPSHIPNN Project Team, PMS 368 APM and NAVESA 08 (as appropriate) as it relates to the Authorized Work Package (AWP) Item Work Sequence Schedule.
- Monitor HII-NNS material procurement for the following attributes: timely ordering, material quantity validation, and budget analyses. Provide appropriate metrics and reports.
- Attend meetings with Government and shipyard project teams to monitor status of advanced material procurements and participate in Integrated Process Teams.
- Provide support for review and analysis of the shipbuilder's parts catalog for Naval Stock Systems equivalents.
- Assist in the review of shipbuilder provided data for periodic INACT advanced planning technical instruction reconciliations and provide analysis and recommendations to the SUPSHIPNN Project Team, NAVSEA 08 and PMS 368 APM.
- Provide support working in conjunction with the technical production controllers for the review and evaluation of Cost Data Sheet bill of materials.
- Provide other advance material procurement related support activities as directed.
Requirements- Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is required for this position
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Minimum of ten years' experience with the Naval Supply Chain and ship repair supply chain management.
- Minimum of ten years relevant experience with aircraft carrier maintenance and operations, shipbuilding/ship repair business analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (and Outlook).
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills with co-workers, management, and customers.
Desired Qualifications:- Former US Navy Supply Department Chief Petty Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, or Limited Duty Officer
- Project/Program Management experience.
- Bachelors degree in any discipline.
