- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in outside or in-home sales.
- Proven experience selling directly to customers face-to-face.
- Experience working with high-ticket products or services.
- Experience being the first salesperson in the home, rather than simply taking over an appointment after someone else identified the problem.
- Experience closing customers during the initial appointment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
- Comfortable working in a 100% commission-based sales environment.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with homeowners.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to carry approximately 40 lbs. up and down stairs.
- Willingness to learn the technical side of sewer systems and residential plumbing.
