Position Overview:

As an In-Building DAS Sales Engineer, you will lead system design efforts, support field engagements, deliver technical training, and drive pre- and post-sales success for customers deploying cutting-edge connectivity solutions - including DAS, Public Safety, Private LTE/5G, and other wireless-enhancement systems.

This role is based in our Richardson, TX office and is perfect for a technically strong communicator who understands the rhythm of enterprise sales and thrives in a fast, customer-centric environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Technical Competencies
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Windows-based productivity tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Apply a solid understanding of RF fundamentals, propagation, and link budget analysis.
  • Bring experience with DAS design platforms and site survey methodologies.
  • Possess working knowledge of wireless technologies including Public Safety, LTE/5G, CBRS, DAS, and other in-building RF systems.
  • Interpret system specifications, diagrams, and installation schematics with ease.
  • Understand sales processes, quoting flows, and integrator workflows.

  • Maintain high attention to detail across designs, communication, and documentation.
  • Multitask effectively while managing concurrent design requests, training, and field support.
  • Communicate professionally in person, by phone, and over email.
  • Deliver design packages and support responses in a timely manner.

By Month Six, You Will Be
  • Fully proficient in Wilson's system design processes and turnaround expectations.
  • A go-to resource for our Sales team on technical questions, design requests, and system recommendations.
  • Confidently supporting escalated calls, emails, and field visits from partners and enterprise customers.
  • Delivering training content that elevates channel competency and customer confidence.
  • Successfully traveling to customer sites to support key deployments and strategic accounts.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of dedicated RF sales engineering experience, specifically within the DAS or Small Cell sectors.
  • Certifications: iBwave Design certification is highly desired. Experience with Wilson Connectivity or major DAS OEMs (e.g., CommScope, Corning, JMA Wireless) is a plus.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in iBwave Design, or other RF design software tools is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of 5G NR, LTE, CBRS, and Public Safety frequencies (700/800 MHz).
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical customers.
