Description & Requirements

Under general direction, the IHT Developer designs, develops, installs, tests, and maintains software programs and applications of varying complexity. Works as part of a development team-and may take on leadership responsibilities depending on experience-to support the creation, enhancement, and operational use of applications. Participates in testing and resolution of defects prior to production launch. Knowledge of integrated areas of an application is essential. Utilizes and demonstrates a working to advanced understanding of coding and development languages. Applies knowledge of project methodology and system development lifecycle.

- Works as part of an integrated development team in the design and development of software applications and enhancements; may provide leadership or guidance based on experience.

- Conducts requirement analysis, documents technical specifications, and writes, reviews, and debugs code.

- Recommends or implements product revisions and enhancements based on user feedback.

- Assists with or leads implementation of testing strategies, including automated and regression testing.

- Provides technical and maintenance support in post-live production environments.

- Develops and maintains documentation and/or user manuals.

- Identifies ideas and concepts for enhancing the operational use of applications.

- Performs technical and workflow assessments, including defining business requirements, system design, and solution development.

- Troubleshoots and resolves issues of varying complexity; escalates more complex issues as appropriate.

- Applies knowledge across integrated areas of applications.

- May provide leadership, coaching, or mentoring to team members depending on experience level.

- Possesses working to comprehensive knowledge of subject matter, aligned to level of experience.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Infor Lawson, Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).

- Experience integrating ERP applications with other enterprise systems.

- Familiarity with data interfaces, APIs, and system integrations.
