Full Job Description
The IFM Account Manager is responsible for the overall performance of services performed at all DFM solutions sites. This role is a member of the Senior Staff and reports directly to the Senior VP, Operations. This role drives quality and champion's metrics, cultivates relationships with our clients and leads our site teams. They develop strategies to grow and improve the organization, uphold and promote the DFM Solutions core values as part of the Executive Leadership Team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate a cross-functional operational staff to be a highly capable team who achieves strategic growth objectives.
  • Ownership of operational management and financial performance of multiple accounts and sites.
  • Evaluates metrics and adjusts activities to meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Lead operating teams to develop and retain customers.
  • Implement short and long-term goals to achieve customer's scope of service.
  • Direct and lead DFMS operations/site leaders and key field operations staff through servant leadership practices.
  • Display key leadership behaviors and ensure the team is promoting the highest level of safety, quality and customer service.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, budget variance reports, operating reports and other financial information to monitor and achieve financial goals.
  • Assess financial risk and opportunities and communicate results to team and customer.
  • Build and maintain good professional business relationships with customers, plant contacts, internal employees and all other that pertain to account operations.
  • Coach, develop and motivate employees to maximize their potential within the organization.
  • Drive solutions and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize account growth.
  • Review and evaluate existing programs, services, processes and procedures to determine effectiveness.
  • Identify new opportunities to implement new and innovative services and products that support customer growth and retention.
  • Focus on strong customer relationships with key stakeholders beyond site level
  • Manage union leadership relationships beyond the site level and support CBA negotiations as operations lead.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure safety standards are achieved.
  • Actively identifies new areas for learning and takes advantage of learning opportunities.
  • Direct and lead quality initiative throughout operations.
  • Supports estimating, lead site launches and drive DFM Solutions to success

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.
  • Strong change management skills to include practical implementation.

  • Regional travel required - Michigan (majority Southeast Michigan), Ohio, and New York.
