AFS is seeking an IE China Media Analyst to provide specialized analysis of PRC media ecosystems, propaganda mechanisms, narrative development, and information flow across the theater. The Work: - Continuously monitor Chinese state and affiliate media outlets. - Conduct deep-dive narrative analysis focused on PRC messaging, propaganda themes, and influence campaigns. - Track emerging information trends across the Indo-Pacific AOI. - Identify indicators of coordinated influence activities and messaging shifts. - Produce high-quality written intelligence products and contribute to command briefings. Here's what you need: - Minimum 4 years experience in Chinese media systems, strategic communication, or regional geopolitics. - Experience conducting media or propaganda analysis. - Ability to leverage a mix of human and machine-assisted research.
