Full Job Description
The IT Product Manager - Accessories is responsible for defining and delivering technology solutions that enable the end-to-end Accessories business across dealer, retail, and digital ecosystems. This role bridges Accessories business strategy with IT execution, ensuring scalable, high-quality platforms that support product portfolio management, go-to-market execution, and customer experience.

The Product Manager will own the roadmap and lifecycle of Accessories systems, including catalog management, vehicle applicability, pricing, publishing, and digital commerce integrations, working closely with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision (IT + Business Alignment):
  • Define and communicate the technology product vision and roadmap for Accessories platforms aligned with Aftersales strategy
  • Translate Accessories business priorities into scalable IT solutions and product capabilities
  • Align with global Accessories strategy, including revenue growth, attach rate, and customer experience goals
  • Identify opportunities to modernize systems, improve data flows, and enable digital capabilities


Product Ownership & Backlog Management:
  • Own and manage the Accessories product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and technical feasibility
  • Convert business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure clear and complete requirements documentation
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure continuous delivery of value


Accessories Systems & Platform Enablement:
  • Oversee key Accessories capabilities and systems, including:
  • Product definitions & engineering
  • Vehicle applicability and configuration logic
  • Product sourcing & purchasing
  • Pricing, promotions, and incentives
  • Publishing to dealer (B2N) and customer-facing (B2C) platforms
  • Ensure seamless integration across upstream and downstream systems (ERP, eCommerce, dealer systems)


Go-To-Market & Launch Support:
  • Partner with Accessories Product Management and Operations to enable IT readiness for launches
  • Ensure systems support:
  • New accessory introductions
  • Dealer Installed Options (MDIO)
  • Custom shop and upfit workflows
  • Coordinate system deployments aligned with product launch timelines


Digital & eCommerce Integration:
  • Collaborate with Digital and eCommerce teams to support:
  • Online accessory browsing and configuration
  • Vehicle customizer tools and digital merchandising
  • Customer journey improvements and personalization
  • Enable integrations with digital platforms and customer data systems to improve engagement and conversion


Data, Analytics & Performance Management:
  • Define and track product KPIs such as:
  • System performance and reliability
  • Data quality and completeness
  • Conversion, attach rate, and revenue impact
  • Leverage analytics to prioritize enhancements and improve outcomes
  • Support reporting capabilities and data accessibility for business teams


Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Serve as the primary interface between business and IT teams
  • Collaborate across:
  • Accessories Product Management
  • Operations & Supply Chain
  • Pricing & Marketing
  • IT architecture and development teams
  • Drive alignment across global and regional stakeholders


Testing, Deployment & Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Oversee product releases, issue resolution, and post-launch support
  • Identify opportunities to:
  • Reduce manual processes
  • Improve automation and data accuracy
  • Enhance system scalability and usability


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Product Management, Business Analysis, or Digital Platforms
  • Minimum 3 years leading direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Automotive Aftersales / Accessories business
  • Product lifecycle and go-to-market processes
  • Digital commerce platforms and integrations
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Ability to work across global and cross-functional teams
