Full Job Description
Job Summary:

Ensures compliance with the various local, state, and federal laws governing absence, disability, accommodation, and workers' compensation through leveraging subject matter expertise to analyze data, conducting audits, and evaluating workflow. Acts as subject matter expert with IAM case management practices and systems, HRC (Human Capital Management) information systems, data management and reporting, and compliance auditing. Ensures the integrated absenced management (IAM) department operates smoothly and remains compliant with all legal and service-level requirements. Plays a vital role supporting IAM's quality, compliance, and self-audit functions for all service lines administered by IAM (leave of absence, disability, workers compensation, and integrated pay benefits). Focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting IAM case and employment data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:
  • Associate's Degree in human resources, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Three years' relevant experience: Preferred
  • Experience with and knowledge of state and federal laws governing leave administration, disability, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation, disability pay integration and basic knowledge of workers' compensation programs: Preferred
  • Experience generating reports, working with large datasets, conducting analysis, and providing feedback to address opportunities for improvement and preparing and conducting special audits summarizing information and trends: Preferred


Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified Leave Management Specialist or Certified Professional in Disability Management: Preferred
  • Human Resources Professional or Professional in Human Resources certification: Preferred


Essential Functions:
  • Supports the internal audit functions for all IAM service-lines to improve processes and mitigate barriers to achieving compliance. Analyzes case management data and activities to ensure team compliance with policies, state and federal regulations. Conducts quantitative analysis of case management workflow measuring team performance and alignment with service level commitments (SLC).
  • Identifies process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve accuracy. Creates and presents reports to IAM leadership on findings and recommendations for compliance and quality improvement. Supports IAM team operations by responding to case management inquiries and resolving case management system barriers.
  • Provides process and case management education and training to IAM team members. Supports data integrity activities by auditing IAM data to identify anomalies, outliers, and quality issues for resolution. Supports IAM's annual statutory reporting requirements related to leave, disability, and workers' compensation.
  • Collaborates with IAM leaders and program stakeholders to optimize IAM data management systems and various file integrations, validating data for accuracy and accessibility. Maintains and supports the IAM operational reports library and prepares data for both internal and external stakeholders. Participates in projects and initiatives supporting IAM enhancements, file integrations, process improvements, and automation.
  • Stays updated with leave administration trends, legislative updates, and industry benchmarks, and best practices toolbox. Maintains data privacy and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive IAM department data.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
