Job Summary
The IAM Engineer / Developer will design, implement, and maintain secure authentication and authorization services across the organization. The role requires strong Identity and Access Management experience, with expertise in Ping Identity products and authentication standards, to support secure access management across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input for architecture-level decisions and implement authentication solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and related tools.
• Collaborate with cross-domain Identity and Authentication Services teams on various IAM solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise and consultation to SSO Integration and SSO Engineering teams for the implementation of authentication solutions.
• Provide senior-level guidance and support for policy creation, modification, usage, and policy fragments.
• Ensure Authentication Services align with industry standards and best practices, including SAML, OAuth, FIDO2, and OIDC.
• Participate in security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments related to Authentication Services components.
• Investigate and resolve Authentication Services issues, including authentication failures, token management, and user provisioning.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for Authentication Services leveraging authentication, OIDC, MFA, and FIDO2.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation covering Authentication Services configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Use Jira, Confluence, and industry-standard documentation practices to maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience managing and supporting Authentication Services systems, with expertise in PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingDirectory.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience integrating applications using industry standards such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and FIDO2.
• Strong expertise in policy creation and implementation.
• Proven ability to execute projects independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent enterprise-level experience.
