What You'll Do

  • Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the project team with installation activities as needed.
  • Serve as the senior field execution authority for assigned hyperscale projects.
  • Translate project plans into highly sequenced, executable field strategies across multiple buildings, zones, or phases.
  • Anticipate execution challenges associated with manpower scale, access constraints, and schedule compression.
  • Drive consistent, high-output field performance through disciplined planning rather than reactive problem solving.
  • Lead development and execution of detailed look-ahead schedules and production plans.
  • Proactively coordinate material requirements, deliveries, staging, and release schedules to support uninterrupted production.
  • Identify material, access, or sequencing risks weeks ahead of impact and drive mitigation actions.
  • Partner closely with scheduling, logistics, and project controls to maintain predictable execution.
  • Maintain accountability for sustained field productivity and efficiency.
  • Recognize early indicators of productivity degradation and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, client hyperscale standards, and E2 Optics' Quality Management Plans.
  • Minimize rework through anticipatory planning, supervision, and quality verification.
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to maintain real-time visibility into execution status, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Escalate risks early with clear, solution-oriented recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted execution advisor to project leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Informally mentor Superintendents, Field Supervisors, and Leads through example and coaching.
  • Share best practices, lessons learned, and execution strategies across projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and standardization of field execution practices.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.


What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Advanced industry certifications (BICSI, PMP, RCDD, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial construction or structured cabling, with significant hyperscale or large data center project exposure.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex field operations with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage risk, schedule, and productivity at scale.
  • Expert-level understanding of hyperscale data center construction and structured cabling systems.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces.
