Job Description:As the Hydraulics Specialist, you will troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of CAT components, such as cylinders and valves.
- Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment
- Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
- Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required
Qualifications:- Journeyperson Ticket considered an asset
- Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
- Previous engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
Important Details:- This position is based out of Prince George, on a 7x7 Continuous Shift
- A condition of employment may be to be fit tested and wear a respirator
