Senior or Lead Financial Analyst (Corporate Accounting)

  • We are open to hire at either the Senior or Lead Financial Analyst level, depending on experience (salary band and job requirements listed are for senior level)


  • This posting is for a financial analyst position within corporate accounting. The position will be involved in monthly close as well as quarterly and annual financial reporting. Ideal candidate will have experience in monthly close process and some audit experience.
  • We are looking to hire someone to work in our Columbus, Ohio office with a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office)


Job Summary
The Financial Analyst provides value-added financial services to both internal and external customers. The incumbent may assume responsibility for financial activities, including but not limited to reviewing and interpreting the impact of financial reporting proposals promulgated by governing bodies; preparing analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data; developing comprehensive financial data reports for both internal and external customers; and providing other needed expertise and reporting to accurately reflect and manage financial matters.

  • Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; compares data from different sources to draw conclusions; uses effective approaches for choosing course of action or developing appropriate solutions; takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.   • Compiles, organizes and formats data, including qualitative analysis required for internal and external reporting. Identifies and researches reporting issues, provides recommendations, assists with the adoption of new reporting requirements. (Reporting)

Required Qualifications For Position
  • Requires four year degree in business discipline
  • Four years or more experience in finance, accounting, regulatory or a related field-prefer experience in monthly close process and some audit experience
  • Requires multiple functional experience
  • Requires knowledge of PC applications
  • Regulatory Finance Acumen - Understand how we make money and how changes to the financial statements flow through and impact customer bills and NI EPS.
  • Building Partnerships - Developing and leveraging relationships within and across work groups to achieve results.

Salary Range*:
$82,200.00 - $123,200.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
