Position Title: Portfolio Manager
The Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Vice President of Portfolio Management by executing investment strategies, managing balance sheet risk, and optimizing portfolio performance within established investment policy guidelines. This is a hybrid opportunity to join a collaborative financial institution where you'll help manage sophisticated fixed income portfolios while working alongside experienced investment leaders in a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Salary Range: $120,000-$150,174+ / Year DOE
Portfolio Manager Responsibilities: - Assist in managing balance sheets
- Conduct liquidity, asset, and liability management
- Engage in hygiene activities, including interest rate swaps
- Facilitate the buying of asset-backed and agency-backed securities
Portfolio Manager Requirements: - 5-8 years of experience in asset management within the credit union or banking industry
- Strong understanding of fixed income and individual securities trading and/or portfolio management
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred
- CFA certification
- Exceptional ability to assess and monitor portfolio risk exposures
- Knowledge of sector/product-specific drivers
- Ability to interpret economic data and understand monetary policy and its impact on rates and the yield curve
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Experience with asset-backed securities (ABS) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS)
- Proficiency in Excel; strong skills in Bloomberg
- Experience with ABS and MBS derivative transactions is preferred
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data and reporting tools is preferred
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Experience with PowerAutomate is preferred
