Position Title: Hybrid Client Success Manager
Salary Range: $115,000-$145,000 / Year, DOE
This is a chance to get in early and help shape the client experience for a new AI technology company operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, public affairs, and narrative intelligence. The Hybrid Client Success Manager will own critical pieces of the customer journey, from building customized prospect demos and translating complex issues into AI prompts to onboarding new clients, delivering training, and supporting accounts as they grow. This person will also partner closely with business development, analyze AI-generated insights, and help build the processes that will define the client success function as the company scales. The ideal candidate is a sharp, self-directed problem solver with experience in public affairs, government affairs, advocacy, political communications, client success, or account management who can take an ambiguous problem, figure out what matters, and turn it into something valuable for a client.
Responsibilities - Own client onboarding, kickoff meetings, implementation support, and user training to create a seamless experience from day one
- Build customized demo dashboards for prospects by researching public affairs, policy, advocacy, regulatory, and political issues
- Develop thoughtful AI prompts that surface relevant insights, narratives, risks, and opportunities within the platform
- Analyze dashboard outputs and translate complex findings into clear, actionable briefing materials for clients and the Business Development team
- Participate in prospect presentations, walk prospective clients through customized dashboards, and support the sales process with compelling research and insights
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients while anticipating needs, solving problems, and helping them maximize the value of the platform
- Help build CRM workflows, client success processes, and operational infrastructure while taking ownership of cross-functional priorities as the company grows
Requirements - 4-7+ years of relevant experience across public affairs, government affairs, political campaigns, advocacy, public policy consulting, political communications, client success, or account management
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills with the confidence to communicate complex information clearly and defend strategic recommendations
- Demonstrated research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to turn vague information into thoughtful, actionable solutions
- Strong understanding of public affairs, government, policy, regulatory, or advocacy issues and the curiosity to quickly learn unfamiliar subject matter
- High level of initiative with the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and move projects forward without significant hand-holding
- Comfort operating in an evolving startup environment where priorities shift, responsibilities expand, and building the process is part of the job
- Ability to work objectively across diverse industries, issues, and perspectives within a pragmatic, nonpartisan business environment
