Your RoleAs a BCBA at Illuminate, you'll lead the clinical side of care - developing and overseeing ABA treatment plans, mentoring behavior technicians and case supervisors, and guiding families through meaningful progress. You'll partner closely with the Clinical Director while helping shape high-quality, compassionate services for every client.
What You'll Do- Design, monitor, and refine ABA treatment plans
- Supervise behavior technicians and case supervisors
- Conduct FBAs, update client programs, and track progress
- Provide parent coaching and support
- Maintain quality documentation and reports
- Mentor staff and lead monthly training sessions
- Stay current with research and share best practices with the team
What You BringRequired:
- Master's degree in ABA, psychology, special education, child development, or a related field
- BCBA certification (or qualifying licensed healthcare professional)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
Preferred:
- 2+ years in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Experience developing behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans
- Previous work as a Behavior Technician or Case Supervisor
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crouch, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to frequently transition between floor and standing positions throughout the workday.
- Ability to actively engage with children and move quickly within home, clinic, school, and community settings to ensure client safety and provide effective support.
- Ability to respond appropriately to challenging behaviors and implement behavior intervention strategies.
- Ability to lift, move, or assist children and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, as required by assigned cases, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic devices for documentation, communication, and data collection.
- Ability to travel between client locations and perform the essential functions of the position in various environments.
