Job Description

This role requires a technical and operational leader who can drive the design, development, integration and testing of advanced missile and sensor subsystems within a real-time, closed-loop simulation environment. This leader will oversee a multi-disciplinary engineering team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and demonstrate proficiency in all the tenets of Full Spectrum Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Candidate must exhibit all Full Spectrum leadership attributes of shaping the future, building effective relationships, energizing the team, delivering results, and modeling personal excellence, integrity, and accountability.
- Multi-Product Line Oversight: Manage HWIL development, test, and integration efforts across multiple programs with varying technical and contractual requirements.
- Technical Execution: Direct development and sustainment of HWIL capabilities, including RF injection, sensor modeling, Over-the-Air (OTA) testing, and closed-loop simulation.
- Government and Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for USG HWIL counterparts, coordinating roadmaps, capabilities, and future upgrades.
- Program Management & Earned Value: Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM), responsible for cost, schedule and budget execution across HWIL development efforts.
- IRAD & Technology Development: Work with internal R&D teams to define and implement next-generation HWIL capabilities to support evolving mission needs.

Basic Qualifications

- B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline (M.S. preferred)
- 8+ years of professional engineering experience in an HWIL role
- Proven experience leading multi-functional IPTs in an HWIL, RF, or sensor test environment
- Strong technical background in real-time HWIL integration, RF signal generation, and digital modeling.
- Experience executing Real-Time, Closed-Loop Simulations supporting Pre-Flight Simulation and walk-up to a missile flight test event
- Expertise in System Engineering processes and HWIL verification methodologies
- Experience managing multiple programs and balancing technical and business objectives.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Active Secret clearance

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
