The HVAC Technical Support Advisor will have the responsibility of working with the technical services and product management teams to provide technical after sales service to HVAC-R technicians and to proactively help deliver training to customers and staff. This person will provide support to partners in Western Canada. This position is a hybrid role and can be based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Ability to travel is a requirement of this position.
What you will accomplish with us:• Provide local tech support assistance for our factory partner brands.
• Assist customers in trouble shooting of our HVAC&R equipment brands. This assistance will be provided through phone, video conference and when required travel to job sites.
• Help resolve technical issues processing of special labor and material claims between contractor, Master Group and the manufacturer partners.
• Facilitate start-ups of HVAC and VRF equipment.
• Act as technical resource to the Master Group sales teams.
• Prepare and provide technical training and fulfill the objectives given by the product management director.
• To professionally represent Master Group Inc's best interest at all times when interacting with internal teams, external customers and building owners.
What You Bring to Our Team:• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Technical institute or college diploma in the HVAC-R or related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of field experience in the HVAC-R industry.
• Trouble shooting mechanical HVAC-R equipment and controls.
• Proficiency with computers and a moderate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and manufacturer based software.
• Working in a dynamic Team group.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Takes initiative and is resourceful.
• Functioning in a fast-paced environment requiring timeliness.
• Fundamental or advanced understanding of electrical wiring schematics.
• Basic ability to read building mechanical plans and specifications.
• Professionalism, diplomacy and courtesy.
• Proficient at writing reports.
• At ease presenting to people on technical and training material.
• Valid driver's license.
Compensation Information:
Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 annually
Supplemental Pay Types Include: annual bonus
