Champion AC of Austin is seeking an experienced and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or light commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for helping customers stay comfortable year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, proposed solutions, and service details
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and local codes
Maintain accurate records of services provided using company software or service tickets
Educate customers on system operation, maintenance tips, and energy efficiency options
Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and installation teams as needed
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition
