What education and/or experience are needed for success?- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred, Associates degree or continuing professional education in HVAC combined with additional relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 10 years of progressive, professional experience in the design, installation, service and repair of Industrial HVAC Systems at large (250,000 sq. ft.+) customer facilities in the Grand Rapids market.
- At least 2 years of experience leading or directing the work of HVAC technicians.
- Business development, growth strategy, and financial performance management experience including cost estimating and P&L responsibility.
- Current Type A HVAC license is desirable; but not required
- EPA 608 certification is a plus.
- BOMA, IFMA and/or ASHRAE association is desirable.
