Amentum is seeking a HUMINT / CI Mission Support Analyst to support the Joint Interagency Task Force – Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC) in El Paso, TX. JIATF-CC operates under U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and operational coordination in counter-cartel and counter-transnational criminal organization missions. In this role, you will deliver actionable intelligence, ISR tactical support, and facilitate interagency collaboration to directly impact national security. Primary Job Duties:
- Conduct All-Source Analysis and produce finished Intel Production through the fusion of multi-discipline intelligence used identify threat networks and assist government analysts in identifyingCTCO nodes, vulnerabilities, and illicit pathways.
- Analyze information collected from human sources (HUMINT) and counterintelligence (CI) operations toidentify foreign intelligence threats,insider threats, and operationalopportunities.
- Provide J2 staff support functions andcollections support.
- Draft targeting packages and develops actionable operational leads to support HUMINT operationsand coordination with law enforcement objectives for interdiction and investigative efforts.
- Draft, review, and publish finished all-source intelligence products, including network maps,intelligence summaries, and executive briefings for command staff and interagency partners.
- Advise on the alignment of field collection and focus direction in accordance with commandPriority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs), Law Enforcement requests, and USNORTHCOM ICRs.
- Analyze intelligence gaps to write, draft, and refine Source Directed Requirements (SDRs) toguide collection efforts against command priority intelligence requirements.
- Provides technical advisory support for HUMINT Collection Teams (HCTs). Supports operationalmanagement and deconfliction of HUMINT activities, ensuring strict compliance with IntelligenceOversight and domestic restriction protocols under government supervision.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of sensitive HUMINT activities. Review operationalproposals, concepts of operation (CONOPs), and sensitive activity plans for technical feasibilityand risk mitigation.
- Conduct collection activities in accordance with USNORTHCOM regulatory policies and draftassociated IIRs resulting from such activities.
- Provide CI Support to Force Protection as directed in accordance with organizational policies.
- Facilitate Source Administration and support the HUMINT Operations Cell (HOC) in systematicsource vetting and administration.
- Maintain record accountability within operational databases and records to ensure strict regulatorycompliance and accountability.
- Conduct Source Validation through routine review of source reliability and prepare comprehensivevalidation packages for government approval.
- Provide daily operational guidance to field collection teams to ensure alignment with missionplans.
- Manage the review, processing, and dissemination of operational reporting, including IntelligenceInformation Reports (IIRs) to provide feedback to collection elements on reporting quality andvalue.
- Execute technical reviews of CI HUMINT reporting to ensure strict adherence to DIA andDCHEM tradecraft standards for reliability and accuracy.
- Author formal IIR evaluations via IC databases (e.g., CHROME) to assess intelligence value, SDRalignment, and provide actionable feedback to collection elements.
- Assist in Staffing, Briefing & Interagency Liaison as the primary technical briefer and staffer forthe J2X. Drafts executive summaries, staff packages, decision memos, and executive briefings.
- Briefs J-staff leadership and interagency partners on the status of HUMINT operations, collectionposture, analytical findings, and operational deconfliction.
- Serve as the primary liaison between field collectors, command leadership, and interagencypartners (e.g., DEA, FBI) to facilitate operational synchronization and deconfliction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS SCI). Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor27s degree from acollege or university accredited by andaccrediting body recognized by the U.S.Department of Education.
- Minimum 8 years27experience and capabilities for thesuccessful execution of tasks associatedwith specific duty positions/focus areas.
- Completion of Defense Strategic Debriefing Course(DSDC).
- Graduate of service HUMINT MOSqualification course.
Compensation Details:
$80,000 - $130,000
