DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports statewide efforts to strengthen systems that protect health, safety, and quality across Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) initiatives. It plays a key role in strengthening operations, supporting consistent oversight, and guiding improvements across the service system. As a Human Services Program Representative 1, you will perform the following duties:
  • Operational Oversight: Support statewide activities related to incident management, risk management, provider qualification, and quality initiatives
  • Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures, standards, and guidance to strengthen compliance and operational effectiveness
  • Compliance Monitoring: Review performance data, conduct assessments, and identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Regulatory Application: Interpret and apply federal and state requirements to ensure consistent statewide operations
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and report data related to incidents, compliance, licensing, and quality management
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with regional offices, providers, and other partners to support implementation and oversight

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
