Human Resources Supervisor (Business Partners)Our Human Resources department is seeking a people-focused and results-driven individual to lead our Human Resources Business Partner team. This leadership position plays a key role in the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of HR programs and services. As part of the HR leadership team, you will champion workforce planning initiatives, oversee the delivery of strategic HR solutions across the enterprise, and ensure leaders receive consistent, effective support through the HR Business Partner function. You will coach and develop team members, provide guidance on complex employee and workforce matters, and help advance organizational goals through effective people strategies.
What Else Will You be Doing?- Lead the team by setting clear performance expectations, assigning work, monitoring deadlines, and providing timely feedback for evaluating performance
- Design, recommend, and implement human resources programs in keeping with enterprise-wide goals and objectives and ensure compliance with current legal requirements
- Develop, direct, plan, and evaluate unit activities to meet organizational needs and requirements to include research and analysis of complex issues, formulation and implementation of best practices, and administration of strategies, processes, and procedures.
- Recommend, document, and implement modifications to policies, procedures, and processes
- Communicate policies and programs to employees, senior leadership, and outside agencies
- Manage daily operations and projects within the respective unit
- Serve as project lead for related projects
- Engage in high-level organizational consulting on HR Business Partner activities
- Work closely with all employees, from individual contributors to senior leadership
- Advise the HR Business Partner team on employee relations issues, investigations, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
Who You Are- Demonstrated human resources experience (i.e., typically seven or more years) across employee relations, succession and workforce planning, employment law, compensation, talent acquisition, and/or employee benefits,
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field
- Possession of a SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification(s) or credential(s) (e.g., Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, Workplace Investigations) is valued
- Ability to provide hands-on, strategic support to leaders regarding performance management and workplace conflict issues
- Demonstrated experience managing complex processes and projects to adhere to work plan deadlines and unit activity deliverables
- Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers by understanding others and using skillful negotiation and conflict management techniques
- Demonstrated decision quality and problem-solving skills by analyzing information, assessing alternatives, and reaching conclusions to make appropriate recommendations while adhering to HR compliance and law
Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsExerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (1/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary only if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions within an office working environment.
