Full Job Description
A lot of recruiting roles are built around filling open jobs. This one is built around helping Metro attract the right people, strengthen how leaders hire, and create a candidate experience that feels thoughtful, organized, and human.

At Metro Credit Union, we're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner who brings energy, judgment, creativity, and strong partnership to full-cycle recruiting across teams and locations.

What You'll Do

Lead Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer support, and candidate communication.
  • Build proactive sourcing strategies for competitive, high-volume, and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Manage multiple searches while keeping candidates, hiring managers, and partners informed and moving forward.

Partner With Leaders and Improve Hiring Practices

  • Advise hiring managers on role needs, candidate evaluation, hiring decisions, and search progress.
  • Improve recruiting processes, tools, templates, and hiring manager practices, including thoughtful use of AI and automation, so hiring feels clear, consistent, efficient, and human.
  • Use recruiting data, market insights, and pipeline activity to identify risks and guide decisions.

Strengthen the Candidate and Employer Brand Experience

  • Create a consistent candidate experience that helps people feel informed, respected, and excited about Metro.
  • Partner with HR, Marketing, Communications, and business leaders to strengthen Metro's employer brand.
  • Support fair, compliant, and consistent hiring practices.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12-18 months, you will have helped:

  • Strengthen hiring for customer-facing, branch-based, operational, and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Improve the pace, consistency, and quality of the experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Build stronger pipelines and help leaders make better hiring decisions.
  • Identify practical ways to use AI, automation, and recruiting technology to reduce manual work, improve follow-up, and give hiring managers clearer, faster updates.

Examples of Experience We Value

Strong candidates often bring experience such as:

  • Recruiting in high-volume, relationship-focused environments where quality matters most while still retaining a sense of urgency.
  • Supporting customer service, retail, branch-based, operations, call center, sales, hospitality, healthcare, or other people-centered teams.
  • Recruiting across multiple locations, branches, regions, or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Improving sourcing, interviews, candidate communication, or hiring manager practices in measurable ways.
  • Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can show how they improved recruiting outcomes, not simply managed requisitions.

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume, relationship-focused environment, ideally supporting customer-facing, branch-based, multi-location, or geographically dispersed teams.

Skills and Strengths

  • Strong sourcing, candidate communication, and hiring manager partnership skills.
  • Ability to use recruiting systems, reports, and data to manage work and share meaningful updates.
  • Comfort using technology, data, and AI-enabled tools to improve workflow, candidate communication, sourcing, and recruiting efficiency.
  • A practical, process-minded approach with a commitment to fair and consistent hiring practices.

Work Arrangement

  • Standard schedule: three days on-site, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and two days remote.

Compensation Disclosure

  • $105,000 - $135,000
  • The salary range listed provides a general expectation for the role. Final compensation is based on experience, unique strengths, and the impact you are expected to make. Metro also offers a competitive benefits package and additional perks that contribute to total compensation.

Why Join Metro?

  • Help shape how hiring works inside a growing organization, not just fill jobs from the sidelines.
  • Improve processes, build stronger hiring partnerships, and create a better experience for candidates and leaders.
  • Join a collaborative HR team that values practical ideas, strong follow-through, and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; paid vacation; 11 paid holidays; volunteer time off; wellness and lifestyle reimbursement benefits.
  • 401(k) with match and safe harbor contributions, plus EAP, FSA, HSA, prescription drug program, voluntary benefits, and access to no-interest loans.
