Manager, Human Resources at Spectrum, you'll combine HR mastery and industry knowledge to evaluate and resolve complex issues in a fast paced environment. Your work will directly support Spectrum's ability to meet business goals.
ResponsibilitiesHow You'll Make an Impact- Partner with leadership to design and implement short and long term HR strategies that support organizational objectives and simplify the customer experience
- Provide consultative HR support to managers and supervisors, including guidance on performance management, employee development and organizational change
- Ensure legal compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws, including Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act
- Oversee employee relations by conducting investigations, managing escalated issues including ethics reports, and ensuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently
- Oversee recruiting, staffing, onboarding and retention strategies while ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity, Federal Communications Commission and affirmative action requirements
- Manage HR operations including payroll and commission processing, benefits enrollment, unemployment and workers compensation claims, HRIS maintenance and HR communications
- Lead and develop direct reports, participate in labor relations negotiations and enterprise taskforces, and manage departmental budget and expenses

QualificationsWhat You'll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior, related field or equivalent
Experience- 5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environment
Skills- Clear written and verbal communication skills with all levels of company personnel
- Ability to speak in a public forum
- Ability to effectively manage and lead projects
- Effective supervisory skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
- Demonstrated PC and Microsoft Office skills

- Knowledge of local state and federal employment laws and procedures
- Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws
- Knowledge of staffing and employment practices
- Knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law
Preferred QualificationsEducation- Master's degree
- Certifications for human resource professionals (PHR, SPHR)
Experience- 2+ years of management or leadership experience
Licenses- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company standards
