Your Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Culture & Team Leadership
  • Culture: Fosters a high-performance culture emphasizing quality, accountability, and cooperation.
  • Leadership: Supervises, mentors, and develops internal Human Resources personnel.
  • Change Management: Partners with leadership to navigate organizational changes and business growth.

2. Employee Relations, Retention and Recruitment
  • Recruitment: Builds proactive talent pipelines and oversees the full lifecycle of sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Training: Designs professional development tracks and trains managers on effective leadership, evaluation, delegation and motivation techniques.
  • Performance: Manages the performance process to help foster alignment of individual goals with business strategy.
  • Advisory: Acts as a trusted advisor to management regarding company philosophy, conflict resolution, and promotions.

3. Compensation and Benefits
  • Benefits: Manages benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies), conducting salary benchmarking, and ensuring pay equity. Selects and manages relationships with insurance brokers, carriers, and HR service providers.
  • Retirement: Administers the Company's 401(k) Plan

4. Compliance and HRIS Management
  • Legal Compliance: Monitors and applies local, multi-state, and federal employment laws, government reporting, and Affirmative Action plans.
  • Policy Development Creates and updates the employee handbook, drafts workplace policies (remote work, conduct, attendance), and communicates changes.
  • Leave Law Expertise: Maintains advanced, comprehensive knowledge of federal and multi-state leave laws, job protections, and employee entitlements (including FMLA, ADA, state paid family/medical leaves, and statutory disability).
  • HRIS & Data: Optimizes Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to automate workflows and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Metrics: Analyzes key HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire) to drive data-backed workforce decisions.


Other Job Responsibilities:
  • Safety: Leads the Safety Committee, investigates workplace accidents/near-misses, and administers the worker's compensation program.
  • Office Management: Provides support for office management as needed.
  • Adaptability: Performs additional duties as business needs evolve in our dynamic industry


Requirements

Your Requirements and Qualifications:

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with multi-state compliance knowledge.
  • Minimum of 1 year Supervisory experience.
  • Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP required.
  • Must be available to travel occasionally.
  • Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

This position requires an expertise in interpreting complex federal and multi-state leave frameworks; exceptional communication and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.

Salary of $120,000+ and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
