Schedule: Mon - Fri 8a - 4:30p
Pay: $80,000 - $85,000, depending on experience
Location: Charlotte, NC 28210
Position Summary:The Human Resources Manager works closely with the Director of Human Resources in overseeing all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, employee relations, and HRIS data management.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provides responsive employee support by answering HR-related questions, maintaining positive working relationships, and reinforcing hospitality service standards.
- Supports the full recruiting and onboarding process, including assessing staffing needs, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, completing pre-employment screening, and facilitating orientation.
- Maintains accurate HRIS and ATS records, tracks licensure and training requirements, and prepares reports to support compliance and operational decision-making.
- Assists with payroll HRIS data integrity, benefits administration, leave management, billing reconciliation, and related records in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Contributes to employee engagement, retention, employee relations, HR programs, communications, and special projects across the campus.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years in Human Resources, Benefits, and/or Payroll position or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Excellent communication and organization skills with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of all pertinent payroll, federal, and state regulated, filing and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of group benefit plans with strong analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of administrative functions including office equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS systems applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment with agility and flexibility.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
