Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager will serve as a key member of the Baltimore Division leadership team, helping connect business goals with the day-to-day employee experience. This role partners closely with the General Manager and site leadership team to shape and execute the division's people strategy, including workforce planning, leadership coaching, employee relations, recruiting, retention, succession planning, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to understand business priorities and develop people strategies that support current and future talent needs, workforce planning, organizational design, retention, and succession planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, investigations, terminations, and day-to-day people leadership.
  • Champion a people-first culture by modeling consistent leadership behaviors, promoting accountability, and supporting a respectful and engaged workplace.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including conducting investigations, addressing workplace concerns, resolving conflicts, and proactively identifying opportunities to prevent recurring issues.
  • Manage and support the talent acquisition process, including recruitment strategy, interviewing, selection, hiring, internal mobility, and onboarding for key roles within the division.
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand the skills and competencies needed for open positions and support hiring decisions that strengthen the team and business.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives, including leadership development, team effectiveness, talent reviews, succession planning, and internal development opportunities.
  • Oversee HR operations, policies, and practices to ensure consistency, and a positive employee experience.
  • Administer and support HR processes related to pay, benefits, leave, reasonable accommodations, policy interpretation, and employee issue resolution.
  • Analyze compensation and benefit trends and partner with Corporate HR as needed to support competitive programs that help attract and retain talent.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, while staying current on HR best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law trends.
  • Plan and support employee communication, recognition, engagement, and feedback initiatives that strengthen culture and two-way communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range for this role is $90,000-$120,000.
